Amarelo Terrace

Latest work from Arent & Pyke ( One of our favourite design duos)
The Victorian-era terrace is located in Sydney’s Eastern suburbs, Woollahra. Love this image featuring an Ilse Crawford table and bench. - See more here

“We always try to adapt a project to its place. A common thread in our projects is natural light, how it's chiselled, how its filtered ” Fournier. Architectural Digest

Imi Knoebel / Raum 19

Raum 19 (Room 19), 1968, is a key work in Imi Knoebel's oeuvre.  An artist with a mature aesthetic and practice, it was created while he was still a Master student under Joseph Beuys. It took its title from the place of its execution, the number of his artist studio in the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf, Germany. We love this artist!

Arts Director at the American Academy in Rome Peter Benson Millers perfectly curated home in Puglia. Love the subtle hint of middle eastern charm.

Happy Times / Lee Radziwill

I have used this image of Lee Radziwil sitting at her desk countless times as a reference of how I would like to style my workspace at home.  I am not even close, but I can dream. What an incredibly stylish woman, I have her book Happy Times on my Amazon wishlist.

Lee Radziwill offers a unique perspective of happy times -- from the Bouvier sisters' first trip to Europe to fond memories of Christmas in Palm Beach with President Kennedy, from her years in London to summer days in Conca, Lee Radziwill has enjoyed a very colourful and successful life. With anecdotes, pictures, notes, and drawings, Happy Times is a very personal look at a highly publicized life. Goodreads

Bofred Designs

The Bofred team ( that being a two-women team ) takes months to conceptualise and design our collections. Endless conversations, bottomless cups of coffee and late nights are all part of each design. Our latest Clay Collection was a 6 month project of research, execution, sampling and producing a small collection that includes mirrors, chairs, benches, lamps big and small and curating art. Our attention to detail drives us mad but also DRIVES us. Being a very small South African company, we strive for international standard of production and design.  All our designs are hand drawn, changed, redrawn and finalised. Next step being a basic computer-aided design to enable measurements and details.  Final step the drawings get produced & sampled. Here is one of many small layouts of our Alberto Club Chair. Alberto is a sculptural piece, designed to be a statement piece, ideally paired and luxuriously comfortable.
