When placing an order, kindly use the order form on the relevant product page and state the following details.

We accept payment via PayPal and EFT (electronic fund transfer). We will include full payment details on the final invoice.  Please note we require 50% deposit to secure all designs and full payment before dispatch or collection.



All production times are on the relevant product pages, but please allow for a general 4 - 6 weeks manufacturing lead time. Lead times for custom orders can differ and will be confirmed when we submit a final estimate and design to the client. The Bofred team will keep you updated on the progress of your order and the estimated delivery date and time.



We charge shipping and courier in addition to the price of the products.  Please include your address and all necessary details if you would like us to include a courier fee in your estimate. Alternatively, you can collect from our Cape Town showroom. We use a reputable courier company and sufficient packaging material to keep your order as safe as possible while in transit, but we cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage once we hand your order over to the relevant courier company or person collecting. We will manage and track your order until we have received confirmation of your delivery. 



We calculate shipping costs according to the size and weight of each product, as well as the shipping destination. We will dispatch your order within three to five working days after product manufacturing is completed and we received full payment. We will email you the tracking number of your parcel as soon as your item has been dispatched. Please note that you will be responsible for any duties and customs charges that are incurred in your country.  Bofred will not be liable for any customs or import duties. We recommend including a phone number in your account details.  That will be noted on the waybill and will give the authorities in your country of residence the opportunity to get in touch with you swiftly.



We offer a six-month warranty period to repair or replace any defective goods. Kindly email us all details including an image of the defective item.  Once we have assessed the defective product, we arrange to collect the item at no charge. We will replace the defected product free of charge or issue a monetary refund for the purchase price of the product.  Please package the product that you are returning in suitable packaging for returning the product to prevent damage while in transit. Our courier reserves the right to refuse collection of a product that is not properly packaged for transport.

The following will not be regarded as defects and will not entitle you to return/refund:

damage resulting from normal wear and tear of the product
damage arising from negligence, user abuse or incorrect usage of the product;
damage resulting from electrical surges or sea air corrosion; 
damage caused by a failure to care for the product adequately; 
damage resulting from alterations to the product; and where the specifications of a product, although accurately described on the website  and fit for its intended purpose, do not suit you.
