Job Title: Operations & Studio Coordinator
Department: Operations & Orders. Showroom Assistance.
Location: Bofred Showroom, 99 Harrington Street, District Six, Cape Town
Reporting To: Carla Erasmus ( Cape Town ) and Christa Botha ( Dubai )
About the Role:
We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Operations Coordinator to manage daily operations with orders, logistics between suppliers, and showroom client interactions. This role requires strong administrative and problem-solving skills, experience in order and product management and excellent communication abilities. You will be responsible for ensuring efficient workflows, timely deliveries from suppliers and a seamless showroom experience for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
Supplier Communications
Oversee and Update Client Order Management Tools ( Monday.com )
Track and manage product lead times and order progress
Coordinate supplier communications and follow-ups
Book and manage local, nationwide, and international couriers
Oversee & assist product packaging, wrapping, and quality control
Client & Showroom Management
Act as a point of contact for showroom walk-ins, providing excellent client service
Assist clients with product inquiries in the showroom & online
Maintain a welcoming and well-presented showroom environment
Operations & Administration
Maintain and improve internal systems
Assist with general operational administration in the showroom and for events
Ensure proper record-keeping and document management
Skills & Expertise
Strong organizational and time management skills
Experience in operations, logistics, or supply chain management
Digital Proficiency.
Good understanding of art & design
Excellent communication and client service skills
Professional and confident in face-to-face client interactions
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work under pressure & manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Experience in supplier and courier coordination
